How many correct answers do I need to pass?
For the orientation course you need 15 of 33 correct answers. If the result is used for naturalization, you need 17 correct answers.
Is the Life in Germany test the same as the citizenship test?
The questions are identical. Leben in Deutschland is the version taken within the integration course, while the Einbürgerungstest uses the same questions for naturalization.
Is the test only in German?
Yes. The official test is in German. LidFit offers optional helper translations while keeping the German questions central.
Can I use this test for a permanent residence permit?
Yes. Scoring at least 17 of 33 proves the required knowledge of Germany's legal and social order, which counts both for naturalization and for a permanent settlement permit (Niederlassungserlaubnis).
